Position Description:

Special Education Teacher with Secondary Math. Collaborative is hiring a licensed Special Education (Moderate Disabilities)Teacher, with a Mathematics license or background, to teach inclusion classes at a DMH facility in Tewksbury, MA. The teacher will develop and implement lesson plans; conduct lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles; plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned; and meet guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP). Qualification requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree; current MA Special Education Teacher certificate, 5-12 Students with Moderate Disabilities preferred; Mathematics (9-12) license OR willingness to obtain the Mathematics (9-12) license within the two years after being hired.
