Webmaster and Communications Associate
Cheshire Academy has an immediate opening for a full-time Webmaster and Communications Associate to
work as part of a three-person team in the Communications Office. The ideal candidate will have
experience in developing and executing engaging internal and external digital communication tactics.
Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, dynamic, and challenging environment, working
both independently and as part of a team. The primary role of the Webmaster and Communications
Associate is that of overseeing the Cheshire Academy website via the WhippleHill Content Management
system. In addition, this individual may assist in areas including content generation, photography, video
production and graphic design.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Advanced website and digital media management; proficiency with Adobe CS5, including, but not limited
to: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience with
building and implementing SEO campaigns. Excellent organizational skills. A bachelor's degree in
communications, graphic or digital design, or a directly related field involving website development.
Experience with independent schools and WhippleHill strongly preferred.
