Position Description:
| CHD's Elder Services is seeking a Program Director to provide administrative leadership, direction, and oversight to an array of community-based programs serving older adults referred to the Center for Human Development. The Director oversees day-to-day operations and supervision of all program managers. The Director is responsible for hiring, training, budget development/monitoring, program implementation, and maintaining effective relationships with funders. The Director is also responsible for monitoring the operations of each program component including compliance with licensing and accrediting organizations, program design, and supervision of administrative functions. He/she ensures adherence to the program's treatment philosophy. In addition, the Director is a liaison to the community and creates and maintains open, effectual lines of communication.
Master's Degree and three years supervisory experience with the population required. Clinical license required within six months and bi-lingual/bi-cultural capacity strongly preferred. The optimal candidate will demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm for the mission, goals and objectives of the agency as well as have demonstrated experience in managing complex budgets, personnel issues, and service delivery needs of individuals served in similar programs.
