OT - Washington
With the scenery of the mountains, this is one of the best places to live. A perfect hub for day trips throughout the region, and numerous historic towns and scenic wonders are within an hour drive. Outstanding recreational opportunities, mixed with nearly 300 days of sunshine annually, makes this an excellent place to live.
A nationally recognized medical center is seeking an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to work in the REHAB UNIT and INPATIENT ACUTE AREAS., AND an OT for Home Health. Work with an interdisciplinary team... this is an opportunity to play an active role in patient outcome.
Position 1 = OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST INPATIENT AND REHAB We are looking for professionals who are interested in working in our CARF accredited Rehab Unit and our inpatient acute areas. We offer a base wage without experience of $35.00 per hour ($72,800/year) and excellent benefits.
Position 2 = OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST 100% HOME HEALTH
Seeking a full time Occupational Therapist to serve clients. Hours worked can be flexible and we would consider part time or per visit options. Base wage $35.00 per hour ($72,800/year), more based on experience.
Additional: Sign On Bonus & a Relocation Allowance too
The OT Department Staff: OT staff of 6 typically (3 COTA’s and 3 OT’s) that provide services for our Inpatient Rehab Unit, Inpatient Acute care and Outpatient Therapy department. There are 2 Directors of Rehabilitation overseeing the OTs, PTs, and SLP.
As for productivity and patient care time, typically like to see about 60% of someone’s day being dedicated to direct patient care. Documentation time is provided in the day. It is typically higher on the Rehab Unit and lower on the Acute side due to how patients present to us (therapy is scheduled on Rehab and we are just one player on the team trying to get at our Acute patients so efficiency is sometimes less there).
Mentoring: it can be as structured or flexible as needed to orient the person well!! Our orientation plans and mentoring are usually variable depending on how you feel you learn the best. It is a great facility and we have a great staff!!! We would welcome a new grad!!
This Pacific NW Location: Big on Recreational Activities. Mountain biking, hiking, golfing, parks with running tracks, swimming pools, nature trails. Gorgeous mountainous views. A downtown with businesses, pubs, restaurants, shops, markets.
Please send a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will set you up to speak with the Director of Rehabilitation immediately!
