Head Coach, Women’s Volleyball
Fordham University, New York's Jesuit University seeks applicants for the position of Head Coach, Women’s Volleyball. Responsibilities: To include but are not limited to: Provide strong leadership for all areas of the volleyball program. Responsible for the organization, coaching and conditioning of all practices and games. Responsible for player instruction and skill development. Evaluate, identify and recruit quality student-athletes within the University, Atlantic 10 Conference and NCAA policies. Hire, supervise and train assistant coaches. Track academic monitoring of student-athletes through their completion of graduation, working with the Office of Academic Athletic Advising. Manage the annual operating budget and respective fundraising gift account. Schedule all practices and games. Oversee team travel, equipment and supplies. Represent the University at internal and external marketing, public relations, and fundraising events as requested. Maintain strong relationships with Admissions, Residential Life, Dining Services and the Development Office. Compliance with all NCAA, Atlantic 10 and University rules and regulations. Implement fundraising activities to support the operating budget. Other duties as assigned.
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Three (3) years minimum volleyball coaching experience or commensurate experience required. Collegiate head coaching experience preferred. Must be extremely well organized and highly motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Position will remain open until filled. Send letter of interest and resume to: Marianne R.
