Asst. Baseball Coach
American International College, an NCAA Division II member of the Northeast 10 Conference, invites applicants for the position of Assistant Baseball Coach. In compliance with NCAA and NE-10 rules and regulations, the individual will assists the head coach in all aspects of the program. This will include: recruiting; scouting; coordinating practice planning; on the field teaching and player development; game preparation; athletic conditioning; monitoring student athletes' academic progress and other related duties as assigned.
Coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
Strong knowledge of the sport of baseball.
Knowledge of NCAA regulations and ability to pass the NCAA recruiting test within 90 days.
Must possess excellent communication and computer skills.
Ability to represent the philosophy and educational goals of American International College.
Ability to work evening, weekends, and holidays as the schedule dictates.
A valid driver's license is required, with ability to travel.
The Assistant Baseball Coach is a part–time, nine (9) month position with no benefits. Schedule will be flexible to the needs of the department. Review of application will begin immediately. The position will commence October 2012 and end May 2013.
