Allied Health Sciences
Assists the supervising physician in the observation, evaluation and examination of patients by performing tasks such as taking medical histories; conducting physical examination; taking body fluid such as blood, spinal fluid, and urine for laboratory tests. Prescribes medications and treatments. Instructs and counsels patients regarding physical and mental health, including proper diet, disease prevention, therapy normal growth and development, family planning, situation adjustment reactions, and other health care matters.

Physician Assistant must be a graduate from a program for the education and training of Physician Assistants which has been approved by the Massachusetts Board of Approval and Certification of Physician Assistant Programs, Department of Public Health (M.G.L., Chapter 112, ss. 9C-9H).
Hours to be worked: 8:30am-5:00pm
Days Off: Saturday & Sunday
