Reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions, the Regional Representative (RR) is responsible for a wide variety of student recruitment duties in support of the Undergraduate Admissions Department and the University's strategic admissions goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Student recruitment from an assigned geographical area by representing the University at high schools, college nights, and college fairs. The RR will travel along the U.S. East Coast including Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and other areas as needed.
Planning/managing personal recruitment territory, prioritizing outreach efforts , and providing reports to the Director
Establishing and nurturing relationships with high school guidance and independent counselors
Acting as the primary liaison for admissions visits during the Fall recruitment season.
In addition, the RR will provide administrative, professional, or technical services as needed to any issue project, or program assigned by the Director or Sr. Vice President to further the University's recruitment and enrollment missions. This is a full-time, seasonal position with employment from September 3, 2012 to December 3, 2012.
A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience (preferably in high school guidance or university admissions) is required. A valid driver's license is necessary as this position is scheduled to travel the majority of the time.
Admissions experience and/or other student-centered higher education experience is preferred.
