Position Description:
| The Town of Granby Department of Police Services is currently seeking applications for the position of Police Officer. Successful candidates will assume patrol duties to include: crime prevention, criminal investigation, motor vehicle crash investigation, and responding to medical emergencies. Starting salary is $55,993 with a generous benefit package.
Applicants must either be certified, or be capable of obtaining certification, as a police officer from the Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Training Council. All applicants must have a valid C.H.I.P. card at the 50th percentile and pass a written examination. The written exam will be held at 9:00 a.m. on November 17, 2012 at the Senior Center~ Youth Services Building, 15 North Granby Road, Granby, CT 06035.
