Position Description:
| Waring School, a co-educational day school of 164 students in Grades 6-12 located in Beverly, Mass., on Boston’s North Shore, seeks a part-time maternity leave replacement teacher for two courses starting in January, 2013: a sixth/seventh grade humanities course in Chinese history and culture, and a freshman/sophomore creative writing workshop.
Bachelors' degree required. Background in history, literary texts, and helping students build note-taking and essay-writing skills is preferred. Knowledge of Chinese history is helpful. Candidates should also be strong writers comfortable with leading a writing workshop course.
