Asst. Dir.of Annual Giving/E-Philanthropy, Social Media & Student Campaigns
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Assistant Director of Annual Giving reports directly to the Executive Director of Annual Giving and has direct responsibility for a portion of the Annual Giving dollar and participation goals. Responsibilities include specific components to manage e-philanthropy, web and social media to increase support and engagement from students and to run the senior class gift campaign. In addition, this position proactively researches emerging Student Philanthropy trends and program concepts, plans and coordinates e-communication initiatives and outreach to alumni and other constituent groups and enhances Annual Giving's web pages to build awareness and better engage constituents.
1. Bachelor's degree. Two years in development, alumni relations or volunteer management or comparable skill-related experience.
2. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
3. Ability to work towards goals within deadlines.
4. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skill.
5. Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
6. Ability to relate well with a diversity of constituents.
Higher education experience; strong analytical skills including the ability to
analyze trends from quantitative and qualitative data; previous experience in email marketing, graphic design, project management or overseeing Annual Giving/student campaigns, as well as social media campaigns
Hiring Salary Range: $36,500 - $45,700. Normal Starting Salary: $36,500 - $41,100.
PROFESSIONAL STAFF SALARY ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM POSITION LEVEL 25.
