Position Title:

Life Skills Coordinator


Position Description:

Essential Job Functions: Work directly with and alongside adults with profound physical disabilities and developmental delays on vocational, social and communication skills, activities of daily living and building esteem; Organize, coordinate, implement and structure activity units to provide such opportunities for program members; Assist with personal care and wheelchair transference; Assist program members in participating in community activities. Qualifications include: Associate's degree in related field or one year experience with the developmentally disabled population. Will also consider: high school diploma/GED with at least one year of human service experience. Prefer: Bachelor's degree; Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills; Respect for the rights and abilities of people with disabilities.
