SEBS/OP Clinician
Job Description BHN is seeking master's level clinicians for specialized program for students with social/emotional disabilities offering therapeutic services within the classroom. Currently there are openings at elementary and middle schools within the Springfield Public School District as part of the SEBS (Social/Emotional/Behavioral Support) program. Full-time employment is possible by combining work in the SEBS program with work in the Outpatient clinic. Some of the duties of the SEBS clinician include: a. Provides clinically sound and culturally sensitive consultation to teachers regarding supporting students in the classroom. b. Provides case management for students as appropriate. c. Provides consultation or direct service around students’ psychosocial skill building. d. Demonstrates problem solving ability in normal and changing conditions. e. Provides high quality clinical services, as well as family and collateral consultation on assigned cases. f. Provides comprehensive Intake Evaluations with clinical formulations and recommendations based on sound clinical principals and judgment. g. Provides individual, family, and/or group treatment based on sound clinical theories and principals. Job Requirements Must have broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment, particularly severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents. Must be licensed or actively working towards a license. Minimum of a Master's degree in related field. Candidates should submit cover letter and resume to to apply.
