Position Description:
| The Residential Counselor works daily with clients to provide both individual and group counseling services. Ensures that all treatment plans and clinical documentation are properly written and kept up to date per licensing requirements and agency standards. Also communicates with appropriate parties regarding client behavior, and facilitates crisis intervention and referrals when necessary. Bachelor’s degree in human services or behavioral field required. Minimum of two years of substance abuse treatment required. Knowledge of 65D-30 standards required. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Computer competency required. A Valid Florida driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to provide own transportation.
