Athletics Development Assistant (6513)
The Athletics Development Assistant is responsible for assisting in the generation of revenue through fundraising, development activities in the Eagles Club, sport program friends groups and alumni relations for the Athletic Department. The incumbent will be responsible to solicit memberships and donations for the annual athletics fund and increasing attendance at major department events. This position manages and maintains development and special event databases, schedules events and meetings, and creates and maintains athletic development publications. The incumbent signs and secures contracts with vendors for special events and functions. The Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the external operations team within the athletics department.
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in fund-raising, development and fund-raising events or other related experience
- Experience in a college athletic department
The successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.
