Greetings from the Vermont Youth Development Corps (VYDC) AmeriCorps Program!
We are currently recruiting for our Vermont Youth Development Corps AmeriCorps State program. This year we are pleased to offer 20-25 AmeriCorps State positions, placed at non-profit organizations throughout the state.

Vermont Youth Development Corps AmeriCorps State Program (2013-2014)
VYDC places AmeriCorps members at innovative, youth-focused organizations that address community issues. VYDC members build community support for prevention and intervention programs that help youth thrive and ultimately become healthy, engaged citizens. Through their efforts, members help communities embrace and value targeted, results-driven investment in youth initiatives.
Full-time members receive an annual living allowance of $12,600 for 1,710 hours of service in 10-12 months. Members may place qualified student loans into forbearance during service and receive a $5,550 education award after successful completion of the program. The program also offers a health plan as well as a child care subsidy, for those who are eligible.
