Community Action's Parent-Child Development Center has an opening for a Head Start Family Advocate, based in Westfield.
The position required 37.5 hours per week and is a school year position. Pay range is $11.53-$12.59/hour with excellent benefits.
The Family Advocate engages in collaborative partnership building with enrolled families and provides comprehensive case management services, in accordance with Head Start Regulations and as outlined in the PCDC Service Delivery Plan. High school diploma or GED; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred. Must have at least one year experience working directly with families of young children. Must demonstrate very good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to prioritize and be exceptionally organized. Must possess basic computer literacy skills and be comfortable with file review and data entry tasks. Familiarity with Early Head Start and/or Head Start Programs preferred. Spanish/English bilingual highly desired. Current First Aid, CPR; valid driver's license and safe driving record; satisfactory current Background Records Check (BRC).
Position is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, year round role. Pay rate is $11.53-$12.59/hour, excellent benefits.
