Asst. Director of Annual Giving
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Assistant Director of Annual Giving reports to the Associate Director of Annual Giving and is responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Annual Fund Phone Program, including daily management of the student staff and supervision of evening call sessions. The Annual Fund Phone Program is a year-round operation that raises more than $1.6 million annually from alumni, parents, and friends of the university through 4-9 calling session per week. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, and supervision of approximately 100 student employees (equivalent of20-28 full-time employees) in a high-energy, fun, and productive work environment that provides each student the tools they need to be effective in increasing fundraising results and reaching goals.
1. Bachelor's degree: one to two years of fundraising or related sales Experience.
2. Ability to relate well with prospects and donors from varied academic backgrounds and different age ranges.
3. Ability to conduct interviews, train, supervise, and evaluate employees excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work evening and weekend hours.
4. Preferred qualifications: Strong organizational and supervisory skills; ability to work with senior executive administrators.
Hiring Salary Range: $36,500 - $45,700. Normal Starting Salary: $36,500 - $41,100.
PROFESSIONAL STAFF SALARY ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM POSITION LEVEL 25.
