The Outreach Representative will have several responsibilities designed to strengthen skills in the workforce. The Outreach Representative will work with the Department of Graduate & Continuing Education administrators with the primary goal of new student outreach and recruitment.
Responsibilities will also include assisting with special projects, events, research, pre-advising, and web enhancement in the Department of Graduate and Continuing Education.
All applications will be reviewed by a Search Committee. Review will begin immediately and continue until finalists have been selected.
Minimum Qualifications
If you are an exceptional, highly motivated individual, with a strong work ethic, outgoing personality, articulate, with strong writing skills, and comfortable with standard computer applications, this could be the opportunity of a lifetime.
Other qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, or significant progress towards a bachelor’s degree
- Strong work ethic, friendly and outgoing, and able to quickly understand new concepts and adapt to new situations
- Articulate, exceptional writing skills, and comfortable with basic computer processes, such as word, excel, and internet applications
- Must have reliable transportation in order to attend regularly scheduled events.
- Must be flexible to work some evenings and weekends as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference is given to Westfield State graduates but exceptional candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree from another institution are encouaged to apply.
