Regis College and The Office of Community Life is seeking applications a Resident Director opening. The Resident Director (RD) is a 12-month live-in professional staff position that works under the direction of the Assistant Dean of Students to ensure a quality living environment conducive to the personal, social, and academic development of each student.
The Resident Director supervises 4-7 Resident Assistants (RA) and must be committed to providing students with the tools they need to experience personal growth and to helping students create a sense of community. The RD will provide leadership and direction in an all women's or co-educational residence hall for typically 125+ undergraduates. Duties include, but are not limited to: policy enforcement, counseling/referral, programming, community building and general building administration/ facilities management.
Requirements: B.A. required, previous experience in residence life and excellent interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills; Master's in related field preferred.
Compensation includes an annual salary, semi-unfurnished apartment, meal plan, benefits and parking.
