Computer Network Technician
JBIT Solutions, LLC is a fast growing IT services company providing IT support and solutions to small and medium businesses in western MA. We currently need a candidate who is skilled at troubleshooting Windows and MAC computer systems as well as Microsoft Active Directory networks. There is tremendous opportunity for this position to grow into a more experienced role including client consultation and project management for those who have the drive.
You must be motivated and eager to learn new skills while having an up-beat attitude while working with end users to solve their technology frustrations. We are accepting applications for either a part time (20+ hours) or full time position.
End user helpdesk style support through either phone call, remote takeover tools or onsite visit to client's location
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of PC, MAC hardware and software issues including connectivity, email, printing, scanning and third party software support.
Onsite delivery and setup of new equipment such as PC's, printers, servers and network equipment.
Identify potential efficiencies in client's network and be able to develop an action plan.
Microsoft Server platforms support such as server 2003, 2008, Exchange, SQL and SharePoint.
Documentation of client procedures and help manuals

Microsoft certifications desired. You must have had 2-4 years’ experience in troubleshooting and supporting a Microsoft Active Directory network. You must possess excellent communication skills since much of the job deals with client contact.
