Developmental Specialist


Position Description:

Developmental Specialist/Mental Health for Community Action’s Parent-Child Development Center. Position works closely with staff, families and community agencies to address infants’, toddlers’ and preschoolers social and emotional needs through staff training, on-site consultation and parent education; facilitates collaboration on behalf of children, families and the overall program.

Requirements Employee must be a licensed mental health professional with at least 2 years of early childhood (0-5) mental health experience, preferably in an early education and care setting. Must be computer literate, and comfortable with the ongoing collection and tracking of data. Must display cultural competence and be sensitive to the needs of families with lower incomes. 2 positions available: Hampshire County 32 hrs week/full year; Hampshire/Franklin County 27 hrs week/full year. $17.39 - $19.04/hr, excellent benefits For more information and a full job description visit www.communityaction.us.
