Position Description:

Assistant Summer Camp Director Are you a teacher or other school year professional looking for a fun and fulfilling way to spend your summer?  Look no further, we have what you are looking for this summer.  The Dedham Community House Summer Day Camp has been in operation since the 1920's.  Located right in the heart of Dedham Square, we serve over 400 children each summer with a variety of activities including swimming, archery, sports and much more! The DCH Summer Day Camp is looking for a mature, qualified and enthusiastic person to serve as Assistant Camp Director for the 2013 camp season.  The candidate will be 21+ and possess a bachelor's degree in recreation, education or another related field and will have prior camp supervisory experience.  Current CPR and First Aid certifications will be required for the beginning of the 2013 camp season.  Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Publisher and with Constant Contact is a plus.  Ability to be flexible and organized also a plus.
