Position Description:
| This is a one year full time service opportunity to assist families in housing crisis. This position is part of the state-sponsored Commonwealth Corps Program. During this year of service, Corps members will provide initial counseling, and information and referral to help families in crisis. The Corps member will work with homeless families seeking alternative housing and will help recruit volunteers and donations to enhance program services and address family needs. Service is through 8/30/10 with a bi-weekly stipend of $400. Benefits include paid health insurance and a completion bonus of $1,800 at the end of a satisfactory year of service.
