UG Admission Counselor
As part of the undergraduate recruitment team, this position recruits and enrolls incoming undergraduate students as part of the overall admissions plan. Responsible for domestic (e.g., mid-west, west coast) and international application review management, this position lists of prospective students and develops, in addition to the established communication plan, individual communication plans to yield enrolled students.
Duties and Responsibilities
Meet with walk-in visitors when traveling admission team is out of the office;
Develop and manage alumni outreach program to assist undergraduate student recruitment practices;
Responsible for domestic and international application review and management:
* Communicate on a regular basis via telephone, email, and written correspondence with prospects, applicants, and incoming students to ensure attainment of his/her individual enrollment goals;
* Monitor application files to ensure their completion;
* Communicate with guidance counselors, parents, teachers, alumni, athletic coaches, and other key influencers of prospective students;
Plan and participate in on-campus and off-campus programs hosted by the College to recruit students;
Work with NEC faculty and staff (e.g., Athletics department/ coaches) to coordinate recruitment efforts;
Write various correspondence and published materials as part of total promotional plan for admissions;
Collect and analyze data as part of ongoing assessment of recruitment program success and new developments in the marketplace;
Other duties as assigned.
Proficiency with enterprise-wide database software applications, and data reporting capabilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
High-energy disposition and goal-oriented work style.
Valid NH driver's license.
Familiarity with application review and SEVIS process a plus.
