Sales Development Supervisor

Position Description:

The Republican has an immediate opening for a Sales Development Supervisor to lead and manage the circulation sales team efforts at the largest daily and only Sunday newspaper in Western Massachusetts. If you have a passion for sales and a proven record of success, we want to talk to you. Primary responsibilities include: - Supervision and development of outside sales channels within the Circulation Department to meet performance goals. - Administrative and promotional support for all sales and retention activities. - Scheduling, administrative support and promotion. - Work closely with other departments on all sales and promotion materials to ensure consistency of brand messaging on all external communication. The ideal candidate should have: - A proven record in effectively leading a sales team. - Excellent verbal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to organize and follow through. - Computer proficiency. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Must possess own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. Compensation includes a combination of base salary and performance based bonus and other comprehensive benefits.
