CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA – MENTORSHIP

The PHYSICAL THERAPIST position is 85% outpatient and remainder inpatient. You are treated as if you have a career here...not just a job! The Director of Rehab is very focused on making sure this is a great place to work for everyone. Work set hours...never past 5pm. A flexible, dependable schedule. The Facility will provide Payment for your School Loans: $400/MONTH additional to pay off your school loans, FOR AS LONG AS YOU WORK THERE

Work in the outpatient Therapy Clinic of an expanding not-for-profit hospital.

Orthopedic patients --- have an orthopedic surgeon and will be adding a 2nd surgeon on board…plus they serve the orthopedic clinics in the area.

Automated with Meditech 6.0…this will be the outpatient documentation also.

Aquatic Therapy pool for the outpatient

New Outpatient Clinic opened 2 years ago…with all new equipment, and this is a beautiful, new facility. WONDERFUL MENTORING FROM A LARGE STAFF! Very supportive and organized mentoring. Department is 5 PTs, 3 PTAs, 5 OTs, 1 SLP, 1 Rehab Aide, Office Manager, 1 person to do registration, plus the Director of Rehab QUALITY PATIENT CARE: If the PT works all outpatient that day, they would see 8 patients since they book one hour for each patient unless the therapist designates that less time is needed. All appointments are one on one and provide quality time with patients.

OFFERING A COMPETITIVE PACKAGE: Salary Range is $60,000-$81,000 / year Relocation $3,000 $400/MONTH Education Reimbursement is not a contract…as long as the therapist is working there, they receive $400/month for their education reimbursement (starts 1st month of work) Facility pays for licensure and association dues Facility pays $1,500 per year for continuing education per year. 2 Positions open at this California Hospital: MENTORSHIP FOR NEW GRADS!!! #1 - Inpatient Acute Care Physical Therapist #2 - Inpatient Short-Term Rehab Physical Therapist A one of a kind center of excellence in rehabilitation. This is a very energized team-driven environment that offers everything you need to practice your profession the way you’ve always imagined. You will be cross-trained in their 3 specialties: Inpatient Acute, Inpatient Short-Term Rehab, and Outpatient Ortho. Your home-base would be the specialty you were hired in on, but if you want to rotate through the other areas, this is absolutely an option. In addition, all of the staff has priority to transfer to other specialties when positions open. It is here you will receive a tailored orientation and be provided with excellent coaching and mentorship. Clinical staff is encouraged to seek continuing education courses that augment the goals of the department and to plan for program growth in many different types of rehabilitation techniques. The therapy staff consists of a total of 40 therapists, between the PTs, OTs, and SLPs. There are 2 PT Managers and the Director of Rehabilitation. Come grow with them and join their dynamic multi-disciplinary teams.

Inpatient Acute Care PT: Will see a wide variety of patients; general ortho, general med, neuro, stroke, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, etc. ICU, Surgical, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, small amount Pediatric, Geriatric Mon-Fri day shift

Work with interdisciplinary teams Inpatient Short-Term Rehab PT: Post-orthopedic surgery care which includes total hip and knee replacement, dememtia, hematological conditions, pulmonary disease, stroke, neurological and neuromuscular diseases, physical impairments. Ortho, Neurological Patients

Tues-Sat day shift or Mon-Fri day shift Work with interdisciplinary teams Salary is $70,000-100,000 / year
