Position Description:
| Iona College, a comprehensive private college located in New Rochelle, New York, seeks candidates for the position of Head Women’s Soccer Coach. Dedicated to the personal teaching in the tradition of the Christian Brothers and American Catholic higher education, Iona College fields 21 NCAA Division I sports which compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
In accordance with all NCAA, Conference and College policies and procedures, the position of Head Women’s Soccer Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the entire operation of the women’s soccer program, including (but not limited to) the recruitment of student-athletes, contest scheduling, practice and contest planning, player skill development, academic monitoring, office and budget management as well as other duties as assigned.
Candidates should possess a demonstrated record of success coaching soccer, preferably at the collegiate level, the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes, a strong commitment to academic success as well as compliance with NCAA, MAAC and institutional rules. Bachelor’s degree required.
