The Receptionist serves as the initial contact for all visitors to the Admission Office; greets and assists walk-ins, candidates and students; provides general information to the public regarding MCPHS programs and events; schedules appointments and tours for Admission Counselors; supports staff by entering inquiries into DataTel; serves as a liaison to Public Safety for Admission office visitors; facilitates interview process including greeting applicants and setting up writing samples; answers telephone calls and assists with mail. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor.
Required: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED; ability to work with a diverse population; demonstrated ability using office organizational skills; strong administrative, interpersonal, and customer service skills; proficiency using MS Office; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired: A bachelor's degree.
