New England Business Associates is a non-profit Human Service agency that assists individuals with barriers to obtain employment. We are currently accepting resumes for an Administrative Assistant in our Springfield office. This position is part time, 28 hours per week. Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, proficient in office programs, a self-starter, have strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to carry out multiple assigned tasks to meet both short and long term goals.
Job duties include: working closely with the HR Director and handling confidential Human Resources related documents/projects. Working closely with individuals on the management team and assisting each with administrative related tasks: entering client information into our data management system, proofreading reports for accuracy (data, grammar and spelling), scanning and uploading documents, tracking report/document due dates and collecting necessary documents from staff.
Job requirements include: Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
