Full-time faculty at SHS Wilmington:Kenya K. Tyson, J.D.
J.D., Widener University School of Law, 1998. BA Political Science, Winston Salem State University. Graduate Coursework, Comparative Politics, University of Nairobi. Assistant Professor/Writing Across the Curriculum Coordinator, SHS Wilmington. Her experience includes advocacy, diversity training, and program development. She also serves as a consultant for Diaspora Action Network and Cultural Exchange, Inc (D.A.N.C.E.), an international organization that facilitates outreach and cultural exchange. Academic interests include multicultural literature and cultural studies.
Kathleen Kulakowski, MSW, MBA
MBA, Eastern University; MSW, Temple University; BA Psychology, Neumann College. Assistant Professor SHS. Experience includes private practice as a therapist; adjunct teaching at Springfield College SHS, Wilmington in the areas of child and family services, mental health and developmental disabilities, and leadership since 2000; human service administration.
Joel W. Littlejohn, Ph.D.
Ph.D., University of Michigan, Ed.S. University of Michigan, M.A. Western Michigan University, B.S, Western Michigan University, Principals Institute, Vanderbilt University, graduate multimedia Education Delaware State University. Assistant Professor SHS. Experience includes Associate Professor and Educational Coordinator at Delaware State University, with over 30 years of experience in public education including school administration, counseling and supervision in , and teaching of business education subjects. She serviced as an adjunct professor at Delaware State University and Springfield College. In addition, she serves as an educational consultant dealing with educational curriculum, evaluation, and working with at-risk youth. She also serves as an advisor for Project Stay Free (program for adjudicated youth) and Delaware Adolescence Program, Inc. (education program for parenting or pregnant youth). Her board membership includes Tech Prep Delaware and the Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Vocational Education.
Kwabena A. Nuamah, Ph.D.
Ph.D., Temple University, MSS/MLSP, Bryn Mawr College, MA, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, BA (Honors), University of Ghana, 18 credits towards MBA, Long Island University. Assistant Professor, SHS. His experience includes Grant management at US Department of Justice (National Institute of Justice), Family Services Program Administrator and Social Worker with Delaware Children and Family Services department. He served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Delaware State University and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Lincoln University. He also served as a consultant and vice president of the board of directors for the Parent Services Project (a national training and consulting agency based in San Anselmo, CA).
John E. Roland, M.Ed.
M.Ed. Education Administration, Springfield College. Assistant Professor SHS. Served as Affirmative Action Officer of Springfield College for several years before beginning his faculty appointment. He has over twenty years experience in Human Resources as a practitioner. He also works as a consultant in human relations for profit and non-profit organizations. He was the former Vice President of Employment and Training for the Springfield Urban League- Springfield, Massachusetts. Professional memberships include College and University Personnel Administration (CUPA) and American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). John is also a non-denominational ordained minister.

SHS employs full-time faculty who are responsible for teaching, service, and scholarship. The SHS practice-oriented curriculum also includes contributions from part-time faculty who are directly involved in agency and community work. The result is that SHS has a faculty with the flexibility, resources and expertise required to address academics as well as new developments in human services practice and delivery.
