School of Human Services at Springfield College

Boston Assistant Dean/Campus Director's Welcome

Welcome! We are easily accessible by public transportation and highway. We offer small classes, a variety of undergraduate and graduate weekend only courses, one-on-one assistance, and class schedules designed for the working adult student. We are known as an educational community made up of a diverse student body, faculty, and staff whose competencies and experiences serve as a familiar resource to the community in addressing social justice issues. Our students pursue intellectual discussions that speak to the development of an individual’s mind, body, and spirit. They can also develop and use their skills, attitudes, and relationships to support the School’s social justice mission. The Boston Campus has become known to the community as a facility where people can go to feel safe and valued, regardless of their 10-Cs [The 5 C’s of Awareness: Color, Culture, Class, Character, and Context; and the 5 C’s of Change: Confidence, Courage, Commitment, Conflict, and Community].
