Directions to Springfield, MA campus

From points east and west:

  • Take Massachusetts turnpike to Exit 6
  • Turn left to Interstate 291 West
  • Proceed one mile to Exit 5 (East Springfield/Indian Orchard)
  • After you turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 20A, you should immediately get into the left lane
  • Turn left at the traffic signal onto Roosevelt Avenue
  • Proceed three miles to Alden Street
  • Turn right onto Alden Street and proceed ½ mile to campus

From points north:

  • Take Interstate 91 South
  • Exit onto Interstate 291
  • Follow I-291 to exit 5B (Route 20A West/East Springfield)
  • After you turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 20A, you should immediately get into the left lane
  • Turn left at the traffic signal onto Roosevelt Avenue
  • Proceed three miles to Alden Street
  • Turn right onto Alden Street and proceed ½ mile to campus

From points south:

  • Take Interstate 91 North to Springfield, MA
  • Take Exit 4 (Columbus Avenue/Union Street)
  • At the end of the exit ramp, proceed straight to the second set of lights
  • Turn right at the lights onto State Street
  • Follow State Street into the city through six traffic lights
  • Bear right at seventh traffic light onto Wilbraham Road
  • Turn right at the first traffic light onto Eastern Avenue
  • Turn left at the second set of traffic lights onto Alden Street

For New Student Orientation:

  • Turn right at the first light and park in the lot on your right
  • Locklin Hall is on the corner of Alden Street and Wilbraham Avenue

For SHS Administrative and Faculty offices: Information Sessions

  • Turn left at the first light and park in the lot on your left
  • Offices are located on the third floor of Blake Hall, which faces the parking lot
