Provides information on all aspects of communications and mass media. Guide
Contemporary Literary Criticism Select
Critical essays on contemporary authors, including biographical and critical information, listing of principal works, and sources for further study.
Counseling and Therapy in Video
Includes more than 330 videos focusing on social work, psychotherapy, psychology, and psychiatric counseling. Includes examples of consultations, counseling sessions, interviews, lectures, and more.

Google Scholar is a free online resource which will allow you to quickly search hundreds of thousands of academic citations to articles, books, and more. Look for the Full Text@Spfld. Col. link to get full text through Babson Library or order the items you find through Interlibrary Loan.

Health Reference Center

View page images of original articles, including images and advertisements, from the New York Times (1851-2005) and Washington Post (1887-1990) Guide
JSTOR Language & Literature Collection
Full text of journals that span the literary cultures of many countries.
LexisNexis Academic Universe
An enormous aggregation of news, business, legal, medical, and reference information. Includes the full text of the New York Times (1980-present).
Literary Reference Center
Provides information on approximately 140,000 authors from a wide range of literary disciplines and time frames as well as plot summaries, synopses, and overviews of their works. In addition, it also includes 14,500 short stories and 54,000 poems.
Massachusetts Newsstand

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center
Allows users to research different views on key social issues such as capital punishment, immigration reform, pornography, and sex education.
OregonPDF in Health & Performance
Indexes theses and dissertations in the Human Movement Studies collection housed at the U. of Oregon. Babson Library subscribes to the microfiche collection of the full text.
Oxford Art Online
Provides access to four key resources on the visual arts--painting, sculpture, graphic arts, architecture, decorative arts and photography.
Oxford English Dictionary
Contains the definitions to over half a million words along with their pronunciations, etymology and examples of use.
Physical Education Index
This database is good for detailed research in sport and exercise sciences. It has both popular and research materials in it. Guide
PsycBOOKS
Contains more than 700 titles from APA, including more than 150 classic books from other publishers, as well as more than 1,500 entries from the APA/Oxford University Press Encyclopedia of Psychology. Search for topics to find articles and fulltext books on a broad range of fields includes medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, among others.

PubMed
Citations describe articles from medical journals and include abstracts. Guide
RefWorks
RefWorks allows you to enter bibliographic citations by hand or import them directly from library databases. You can then organize and automatically format your references according to one of hundreds of different citation styles, including APA, MLA, AMA, and most other styles currently used at Springfield College.
Rehabilitation Reference Center
An evidence-based clinical reference tool for use by rehabilitation clinicians at the point-of-care. Accessible content includes nearly 200 Clinical Reviews, more than 100 research instruments, information from AHFS on over 11,700 drugs and their manufacturers, more than 9,800 exercise images, and much more.
